Stilwell Creative Capital is a private investment firm that acquires distinctive media and entertainment assets, with a specific focus on stable, cash-flow generating music catalogs

We invest in passionate fan bases and in artists who are considered to be icons in specific sub-genres or creative movements

Our investment approach strongly leverages our exclusive distribution, marketing and publishing capabilities and proprietary industry relationships to add value to acquired catalogs

Brian Baum launched Stilwell Creative Capital in 2023. Prior to Stilwell Creative Capital, Brian worked as a Consultant in McKinsey & Company’s Strategy & Corporate Finance practice, where he focused on digital media and led the development of corporate strategy for a major streaming music service.

Earlier in his career, Brian worked in an investing and strategy role at a leading New York-based family office.

He also worked in investment banking at Wells Fargo Securities and Stifel, where he advised on M&A and Leveraged Finance transactions in the consumer and retail industries.

Brian holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Finance from Miami University.

Earlier in his career, Brian worked in an investing and strategy role at a leading New York-based family office.

He also worked in investment banking at Wells Fargo Securities and Stifel, where he advised on M&A and Leveraged Finance transactions in the consumer and retail industries.

Luke Parros supports all initiatives across the Stilwell Creative Capital business. He brings 7 years experience in strategic advisory with a focus in organic growth and M&A across multiple industries. Luke has participated in 8 M&A transactions with an aggregate deal value of $70b+.

Prior to SCC, Luke was a Manager in Accenture’s M&A Strategy consulting group and before that, worked in management strategy at Morgan Stanley.

Luke began his career in management consulting at Treliant Risk Advisors.

Luke holds a BA in Economics from Fairfield University.

Jack Meadow is Director of Research at Stilwell Creative Capital, where he leads bespoke initiatives regarding trends in music consumption and the nature of fandom.

Jack has a distinguished background in academia, holding a PhD in Musicology and an Mphil in Music from NYU and a BA in Music from Harvard College.

Prior to Stilwell Creative Capital, Jack worked with TAMBR, a music technology platform focused on improving pay structures for working musicians.

Jack has published with, lectured at and led research initiatives with Carnegie Hall, the 92nd Street Y and Bohemian National Hall.
